Welcome to ERSU! Evangelical Reformed Seminary of Ukraine
The Union of Evangelical and Reformed Churches of Ukraine formed a new ministry on the 15th of May 2000, organizing a new Reformed seminary in Kyiv to serve the churches of Ukraine and Eastern Europe. Our school holds to the following beliefs:
- The infallibility of the Scriptures
- Grace-based ministry, and
- Faithfulness to the Reformed Confessions of Faith (see: Our Doctrine) The seminary has long-range goals: to prepare pastors and servants to spread the Gospel in Ukraine and beyond,
to use the best educational methods to help these denominations,
and to become a fully organized Ukrainian institution of higher learning. How the seminary works: - 8 weeks per year, students travel to Kyiv for intensive residential sessions
- they are given research assignments, and they meet with their regional overseers monthly
- their study work load amounts to 20 hours per week
